Description
The Quiet Vehicle Sounder is a system that emits a sound for silent vehicles such as electric vehicles. Below 32 km/h it will emit a sound that allows pedestrians and cyclists to hear that a vehicle is approaching. The sound imitates the sound of an idling engine and automatically adjusts according to the vehicle’s speed. It is approved by the UN for an international regulatory basis. In Canada, Transport Canada has also conducted studies on the subject and the system has been approved according to their recommendations. I can provide the approvals on request.
